| The Developer Edition provides
the same easy to use interface as the standard Visual OMP,
but adds an API for scripting programmatic access to the
OMP simulation engine. This makes it easy to use OMP for
batch runs, integrate PERL and incorporate OMP into high-throughput
applications and other existing bioinformatics workflows.
OMP DE includes:
- A defined scripting language, allowing OMP to be programmed
for specific tasks necessary to users or client applications,
- Rich modeling functionality, including capabilities
to predict DNA microarray effectiveness, PCR and PCR multiplexed
efficiency, and oligo probe and primer interactions (dimerization)
