All reportable amplicons are detected under experimental conditions and oligo concentrations that are used in the PCR experiment. Targets are defined and amplicon lengths and primer hybridization temperatures are reported. For follow-up analysis ThermoBLAST CE allows the user to inspect the Genome or Structure view and to download the amplicon sequence.
In the above picture a temperature slider allows users to define their annealing temperature to weed out any amplicons that will not happen above the set temperature. In this way only the important amplicon hits will be presented for consideration. All amplicons can also be downloaded as a .CSV so that primer and/or probe mishybridization and crosshybridization can be eliminated by redesigning the oligo set in the presence of the offending sequences in Visual OMP.
